Playlist from the Summer Party on 22/07/23 at Graham and Margaret’s house.

This was a very successful meeting and Graham tells me that ‘The weather prevented use of the garden so we ate, drank and played cheerfully inside.’
Our next meeting is to be held at Ann’s house in Cardiff on Saturday August 19th so please do let me know if you are planning to come along.
Best wishes to all,
Leonora
https://practisingthepiano.com/ is for amateur pianists.
Thank you to Simon Scott for the information.
This is an extract from an article about using performance as an important part of practising.
It’s wonderful to see many people taking up the piano or returning to it as amateurs. However, many amateurs limit their playing to themselves at home and are anxious about playing in front of others. Although this is perfectly understandable, it is a great shame as it means missing out on sharing something that you are passionate about with people who will appreciate it and support you!
In this week’s blog post we provide some encouragement, suggestions and resources to help you get started on the path to performing as an amateur pianist.
This was a wonderful afternoon of music, friendship and food. Our hosts were Cheryl and Bryan who made us so welcome, thank you both. We celebrated Christine’s birthday with a lovely cake – please see photos of the meeting below.
