The Bristol Piano Club is for anyone from the age of 18 who plays the piano. The standard can range from modest to the highly skilled, from the inexperienced performer to the confident or willing!
The aim of the Club is to get like-minded people together in a positive, sharing and supportive environment. We meet once a month in a member’s house or at an external venue with access to a piano or two, followed by a meal. In addition, we organise Club masterclasses with local concert pianists as tutors and provide performance opportunities for Club members at community events in hospitals and retirement homes.
There is a small membership fee to cover the club’s running costs, and members can attend as many or as few meetings as they wish. For new members, we hope that you will attend at least one of our meetings within the first three months so that you can meet the other members of the club. You are welcome to come and listen, and you will not be forced to play!
