Bristol Piano Club

Playing the piano need not be lonely! Activities include playing and/or listening to one another, duet or ensemble playing, discussing issues such as sight-reading, attending professional recitals, concerts and masterclasses together, meeting with members from other piano clubs, social events and holidays. Above all, we meet just to have fun and enjoy making music!

As long as you are 18 years or over, you are welcome to join us. When you contact us, please tell us more about yourself i.e. the musical instrument(s) you play and to what level, and why you would like to join our club.

Membership

For 2026, the club membership fee for playing members is set at £20 for the year.

Data Protection Policy

For Bristol Piano Club to operate, it is necessary to know who its members are and to have sufficient details so that members can be uniquely identified and be contactable by a limited number of organisers. BPC will also process images from its members, record meeting playlists and provide a summary of club events which will published on the club website.

For all current members of BPC we hold their name, title, and contact telephone number. For members who host meetings, we also keep their postal addresses.

Personal data will be made available, in part or in whole, only to those members who need it to discharge their organisational activities. The personal data is held electronically, in a password-protected system, and processed only by the current club organisers.

Members confirm their agreement with the data policy when they join. They may request that inaccuracies in their personal data must be corrected without undue delay. Members may request their personal data be removed from the club systems at any time, even though such a request may mean they will no longer be able to participate in club activities. Upon receipt of such a request, the member’s data will be removed within 28 days. Their name will be retained for historical purposes only.

The club will not provide other organisations or individuals with any names or other members’ details from its files.
